Crown and Bridge
A dental crown is a fixed prosthetic “cap” that fits over a damaged tooth and restores it to its normal appearance and function. It can be molded from several different materials,
including ceramics, porcelain-and-metal, gold and resin. Crowns duplicate the shape and size of the original tooth and effectively replace the top of a damaged tooth.
Dental bridges are meant to “bridge the gap” created when one or more teeth are missing from a mouth. Bridges consist of at least two dental abutment crowns and at least one false tooth (called a “pontic”), all created together as one solid piece. The pontic fits into the area where the tooth is missing. The abutment crowns fit onto the teeth on either side of the gap to support and anchor the pontic. Ultimately, bridges fill in missing teeth and help replace healthy tooth structure after damage.
Removable Dentures
Dentures are artificial teeth and gums that are fitted to your mouth and created by your dentists to replace lost natural teeth. Dentures can either be full or partial, meaning they can either replace all teeth on either the top or bottom gum line, or just a few that are missing
Extractions
Although there is no replacement of natural teeth which is crucial for biting, eating, and maintaining mouth and jawbone structure, sometimes saving and restoring the natural teeth becomes impossible. In such a case, tooth extraction is unavoidable. Some features of our extraction services:
- Making sure that you’re comfortable before, during, and after your extraction procedure
- Use of local anesthetics to eliminate the pain of extraction.
- Proper guidance to minimize the discomfort after the extraction such as what food to eat, how to chew, etc
Endodontic or Root Canal Treatment
Endodontic or Root Canal Treatment allows your natural tooth to remain healthy. This endodontic procedure
- Removes the infected pulp and the living tissue of the tooth with blood and nerve supply.
- Cleans and shapes the root canals followed by sealing the canal with a suitable filling material.
- Once completed, the tooth is capped with a crown for protection. The crown looks like a natural tooth.
